Our Computing curriculum equips children with the skills and knowledge they need to thrive in a digital world. Pupils learn how to use technology safely, responsibly and creatively, while developing their understanding of coding, problem-solving and digital literacy. Through engaging, hands-on activities, they explore how computers work and create their own programs and digital projects, building confidence and resilience as learners.

Online safety is woven throughout our Computing curriculum and is reinforced across all areas of school life. Children are taught how to stay safe online, protect their personal information, recognise potential risks, think critically about the content they access, and behave respectfully as responsible digital citizens. In addition to this ongoing teaching, we take part in an annual Online Safety Day, where pupils deepen their understanding of current online issues through dedicated lessons, discussions and practical activities. By developing both technical skills and a strong understanding of digital safety, we prepare every child to navigate the online world with confidence, responsibility and curiosity.
