The internet has become an important aspect of our daily lives for education, business and social interaction. Here at Powick, throughout their school life, children will be exposed to a wide range of technology. There are many positives and negatives to the digital world and even though the positives outweigh the negatives, it is important for children, parents and the school to be aware of the risks of using the internet.

Internet Safety Day 2023

Safer Internet Day 2023 will take place on the 7th of February 2023, with celebrations and learning based around the theme ‘Want to talk about it? Making space for conversations about life online’.

 

We will be discussing life online, who we can talk to and why is it important to talk about life online.
