Our EYFS Vision and Values in Practice

At Powick CE Primary School, our EYFS curriculum is built upon our values which include compassion and respect, community, thankfulness, forgiveness and perseverance. Our approach balances child-initiated play with adult-guided learning and high-quality interactions through the themes ‘Ourselves and our families’, ‘Journeys’ and ‘Our Wonderful World’. Practitioners create a language-rich, stimulating environment where children’s interests drive their learning. We emphasise:
