Vision

Difficulties with vision will affect the child's hand-eye coordination which is required for aspects of spatial and motor control. Poor vision is often the cause of many learning difficulties, so children should have an annual eye test, which is free.

 

Classroom accommodations may include:

  • Sitting with back to the light source
  • Sitting close and central to the board
  • Printouts of visual material to refer to
  • Enlarged print 
  • Bold images and text with reduced visual clutter
